A very important foundation work of the power station/substation is timesynchronization, Uniform and accurate time is an important measure to ensure the safeoperation of power systems and raise the level of electricity to run. Comparing theexisting numerous synchronous timing device and analyzing their shortcomings andcombining with the more popular microprocessor, we finally selected the STM32family,they are high-performance, low cost, low power consumption embeddedapplications design specifically for the ARM Cortex-M3core processor to complete theprocessing of the data. We have adopted the PCI-104bus technology for datatransmission, the bus technology to meet the requirements of real-time. Thesynchronization time, the module uses two large-scale logic chips, a GPS receiver chipand a STM32microprocessor chip. Synchronization timing module segments open, including the GPS receiver, is responsible for receiving GPS navigation devices unifiedRTCM standard protocol NMEA-0183.STM32module, Decodes the Time informationGPS receiver passed over the Time code which take the NMEA-0183in the formpresented and issues the time signal. The writing of the drive adopt Driverstudio toachieve the card system and PC communication; test software of the host computer usethe MFC class to write.
