As the rapid development of the society and the economic, the city expansive rapidly,and the university campus space is developing rapidly, gradually formed a new suburbancity around one or several famous university. This new suburban city organized multipleopened living areas, motor areas, research and development areas and green square areasthrough the method of clustering.The scope of the study is the post occupancy evaluation of buildings and theenvironment of the stadiums in Guangzhou university town, try to get a thorough andcomprehensive study on how to realize the optimum method of university gymnasiumdesign. The meaning of architecture is to meet the demand for space, some building satisfythe demand commendably, while some building are difficult to use. The reseach of the postoccupancy evaluation is a process of re-thinking of architectural design, by reviewing theconstruction advantages and disadvantages, summing up experiences, draw a lesson, haspositive significance to create high degree of intensive, sharing and resource utilization ofuniversity town stadiums.The overall planning and construction of Guangzhou University Town is more than10years since2003, The ten universities have completed the construction of their ownstadiums. The traditional university gymnasium restricts use for their omn students, but theUniversity Town stadiums are not only for their own students, but also for the entirestudents and the surrounding residents groups. The reseach of the post occupancy evaluationof stadiums in Guangzhou University Town can make better use of the University TownGymnasium Resources, and meet the demand of Sports and Exercises of more collegestudents. The reseach of the post occupancy evaluation of stadiums in University Town havea positive influence in promoting the construction of the University Town.
