The centrifugal phenomenon can be seen everywhere. By far, many machines have been designed based on the centrifugal theory, such as the centrifugal pump and the centrifugal seperator. By date, however, nobody has utilized the centrifugal force to drive a mechanism. In this article, we build the mathematical model for a centrifugal device which is driven by the centrifugal force, and analyze its movement. Moreover, in order to gain the cyclical centrifugal force, we study on multi-motor synchronous control theory and conduct the relative experiment. At first, we build the mathematical model for our device, and analyze the movement of a given point under different original conditions. For each condition, we also get the kinetic equations and simulate its trajectories with the help of Matlab. To our centrifugal driving device, the centrifugal driving force is derived from the motion of a centrifugal mass which is driven by a master motor and two slave motors. Meanwhile, the generated driving force is largely determined by the synchronization of master-slave motors. Thus, in order to meet the requirement of synchronization, we utilize AT89S52as our system controller on the base of PID control algorithm and analyze the relationship between control and movement. Finally, we design and bulid our hardware system, develop the control codes for software, and build the experimental driving device. The control system of this device comprises AT89S52, LED digitron, motor drive, encoding disk pack, etc.; the driving system consists of a stepping motor, two DC motors and some other movement delivering parts. The working result of our device provides the strong proof that this new kind of centrifugal driving method is correct and feasible.
