| Outdoor space of large-scale commercial centers have been one of the most significant public space in cities in our country. The public life of residents has a close relationship with the public outdoor space in cities. What’s more, the public life of residents can be created by nice public outdoor space in cities. By researched on the users’ public life of outdoor space in large-scale commercial centers, this paper is designed to put forward some valuable suggestions on the improvement and construction of outdoor space of large-scale commercial centers. From the perspective of environment-related behavior, taking outdoor space of large-scale commercial centers such as Wanda square, Yuanyi times plaza and Datang international square in Hefei city as study object, making some questionnaires and detailed observation record on the customers’ behavior, I come to realize that using demand needs to be attached great importance especially in the practical design. This thesis deeply analysizes the practical demand of public life towards outdoor space of large-scale commercial centers, namely integrated demand, accessible demand, demand of comfort level. In addition, it also comes up with support of space design corresponding to the three demand mentioned above as well as pattern language of landscape design according to the eight outdoor space of large-scale commercial centers. |
