This paper has regarded knowledge engineering as the foundation, analyzed the domestic and foreign research situation of knowledge engineering technology. On this basis, this paper has combined with the requirements of the KBE system of the modern product design, regarded dynamic organization technology of knowledge base as the breakthrough point, regarded improving the automatization and intelligence of knowledge system as the goal, and did a lot of reasearch of the optimization design of knowledge system.The main research work and innovation of this paper summarized as follows:(1) Proposed the implementation of interface layer, control layer and data layer three-tier architecture of design method of shaft parts based on knowledge engineering, and put forward the realization methods of each layer, namely:using C#.net and UG open MenScript realized interface layer development, using C#.net and NX Open APIs NX realized control layer development, and using SQL Server2005database realized data layer development;(2)Solved key technologies of design method of shaft parts based on knowledge engineering, with C#.net, SQL database and NX software platform;(3)Summaried design experience and the modeling features of multiple aeroen-gine and helicopter transmission shaft parts;(4)As far as application, the paper developed the shaft system base on the research of dynamic organization technology based on module by the software of NX, SQL2005and C#.NET technology. It proved the practicality and feasibility;(5)Research results have been applied in the design, and improved the design efficiency of shaft parts.
