| Car crane industry has a long history, as a very complex industrial product and majorconstruction machinery, it’s playing an important role in urban construction. Truckcrane industry has developed into a very mature and highly competitive market, inorder to increase product differentiation, design often plays an important role. And inconsumer-oriented market, the key to success can’t depend entirely on the aestheticand accumulated experience of designer. It is difficult to ensure that kind of productscan meet the demand of customers. So this paper discusses the relationship betweenconsumer preferences, the intention of vocabulary and style elements, hoping to seeka new path for product design.As the starting point, this paper discusses the emotional intention of the truck crane,First, extensively collect truck crane perceptual intention words and the productsamples through the Internet, books and magazines; the second stage screening32pairs of words for further research, product samples downsized to16; the third stagemade the questionnaire by using semantic differences method, analysis the date andreduce the number of the vocabulary, finally get six on behalf of the vocabulary; Thefourth stage Conclude the elements of the truck crane shape, and put forward designproposals for each perceptual intention, provide quantitative reference for thedevelopment and design of the truck crane.In this paper, Kansei engineering theory is applied to truck crane design. Exploringthe relationship between truck cranes’ form feature and image, and proposing on thetruck crane emotional design have some practical significance to the domestic cranedesign. |
