Research Of The Multi-functional Building Skin System Based On The New Technology Of Glass Curtain Wall

This paper described from the ecological and performance of the building skin.The main object of study is limited to the peripheral structure of the glass curtain wallsystem and multi-functional glass skin which by the glass curtain wall as the mainmaterial, and other new materials, technologies for the auxiliary. Good visual effectof the glass curtain wall brings great artistic charm，but on the other hand, bright andtransparent glass curtain wall is hidden behind the serious energy consumption, lightpollution and visual interference as well as other ecological problems. To face of theabove contradiction, how to take the ecological strategy to solve the contradiction ofthe glass curtain wall has become the focus of the paper.Based on the domestic and foreign new application examples, the article pointsout the trend of multi-functional development of the glass curtain wall skin throughdiscusses the structural features of the glass curtain wall system and the trend ofecological transition. Under the reality of ecological development, the author want toprovide theoretical support for the glass curtain wall which in the choice of materials,components and detail design. The article introduces the summary of appropriatetechnologies and presents the future development, the design concept and optimizeddesign method of the glass curtain wall. At last the author hopes that through thearticle to provide a reference for the sustainable development of China’s constructionindustry.The first chapter of this paper summarizes the background and significance ofthe topics, describes the framework of the thesis content, methods, objectives andarticles of the paper,which from the ecological view of construction, buildingperformance and glass curtain wall as the contradictions of the building skin.The second chapter of this paper starting from the concept of building skin.Through the introduction of bionics concept, the author analysis the material physicaland mental attributes of the building skin and summarizes the classification andhistorical development of it. At last proposed the building skin is a multi-functionaldynamic system.The third chapter of this paper explains t he process of development of the glassand glass curtain wall system, analysis the classification and structural features of theglass curtain wall. From the ecology and energy consumption, the chapter summarizes the physical characteristics and application characteristics of the glass. So as to putforward the multi-functional eco-development strategy of the glass curtain wall.The fourth chapter of this paper is the focus section of the article. The authordescribes the composition of the glass curtain wa ll, the scope of application,classification, experimental results, functional form of the characteristics andapplication examples in a variety of new conditions.
