With the increasing of the traffic volume, the early disease of road forms. Ruttingoccupies an overwhelming specific gravity on the early damage of asphalt pavement,compared to the damage form cracking, fatigue, flushing and biting edge.This thesis relies on the Jilin provincial Department of communications scienceand technology project-‘study on PCF anti-rutting agent application’. It bases on thestudy purpose and significance for PCF anti-rutting agent. Analyses deeply domesticand foreign about the anti-rutting agent and rutting problem research status.PR anti-rutting agent is used as a reference object, AC-16mixture and SMA-16mixture mixed with PCF anti-rutting modification effect analysis, A series of indoorexperiments have been completed. After in-depth theory and testing content, draw thefollowing conclusions:1. The road test shows: PCF anti-rutting agent plays multiple roles such as:enhancing the surface of the aggregate bonding, filling the pore, making interlockingskeleton stability, restoring elasticity. It can greatly improve the high-temperaturestability of asphalt mixture and also have a certain role in promoting water stabilityand low temperature crack resistance of asphalt mixture.2. Through all the test, we can see:(1)PCF anti-rutting agent can effectivelyimprove the performance of high temperature stability of asphalt mixture.(2) Throughthe low temperature indirect tensile test, PCF anti-rutting has a good improvementeffect on low temperature crack resistance of AC-16asphalt mixture, but no obviouseffect on SMA-16asphalt mixture. This shows that anti-rutting agent improves thehigh temperature performance of asphalt mixture but does not reduce the lowtemperature performance at the same time.(3) Through Immersion Marshall Test, PCFanti-rutting agent can improve the soaking residual stability of AC-16mixture, whichmeans it reduce the damage of AC-16mixture after immersion and can reduce theprobability of asphalt pavement water damage compared with ordinary AC-16mixture.(4) Through the freeze-thaw splitting test, PCF anti-rutting agent can ensurethe splitting strength of asphalt mixture after freezing and thawing actions.3. From the comparison PCF and PR rutting anti-rutting effects, PCF anti-ruttingagent has a slightly gap. But from the overall performance of road test, PCFanti-rutting agent also plays an effectively role in improving the road performance of asphalt mixture, which can provide new ideas on actual pavement paving in thefuture.
