In the highway extension construction process, due to the trafficoperation and expansion of construction at the same time, increase the factorsinducing traffic accident, traffic safety situation is very grim. To improvetraffic safety level of Freeway Rebuilding process, reduce the number oftraffic accidents, the safety evaluation of reform of expressway, thesignificance is particularly important.In this paper, in order to Changchun to Siping extension project as theproject background, introduces the safety evaluation of highwayreconstruction in the preliminary design stage, the expansion and thetechnical index of highway and engineering solutions are compared and analyzed,based on the assessment results improve to preliminary design expansion.1、The results were calculated by running speed coordination evaluationof speed on the overall project, according to the "code for design of highwayroute" analysis of extension and highway traffic adaptability.2、Respectively, on the plane, stopping sight distance, vertical alignment,cross section, roadside safety clearance zone, drainage facilities, road oftechnical indexes of in-depth study, the safety evaluation of driving thecorresponding conclusion.3、The extension of existing bridge upper structure, dynamic and staticload test of the appearance test, structure calculation, the old bridge capbeam bending, crack resistance checking carrying capacity, according to thecalculation results are given the corresponding project.4、From interchange spacing, main technical index, type of interchange,ramp technical indicators, overpass area stadia and other aspects of analysis,gives the existence of security risks to the expansion treatment suggestions.The results of safety evaluation and research of this paper can providethe basis for the design, but also for similar design reference.
