Micro-UAV has attracted extensive attention and been applied worldwide. Ground control system of Micro-UAV has also been focused and developed more and more. The three-dimensional visualization ground control system described in this paper was developed for the fixed-winged Micro-UAV according to the project. Google Earth API, ADO and Direct2D/3D technology was integrated to a MFC dialog project to accomplish this system based on the hardware platform that has been built. This system can monitor the UAV through functions like displaying flight data and route, planning route, saving data and long-distance control. Besides, the2D and3D route planning was researched in this paper based on navigation map and Astar algorithm.This paper started with research status and functional requirements of ground control station for Micro-UAV. The overall software and hardware solutions had been designed in this paper, and the designing process of ground control software had also been described. In view of the wireless data transmission between UAV and GCS, a data transmission module and simple data-transfer protocol was designed. This paper had done deeply research into the realization of3D navigation map based on Google Earth API, which had improved the function of2D map now existing. The virtual aircraft instruments had been developed using Direct2D/3D technology in this paper to make the flight data display more directly. This paper used data radio to send the control command come from joystick o UAV to increase the control distance. A data storage module had been designed based on ADO and Access to play back and analyze the data collected during flight.For intelligent route planning for Micro-UAV, the planning process had been discussed in this paper. And the obstacle-avoid2D route planning method based on direction element had been studied in this paper. This paper also did some research at3D route planning, which was based on2D route planning, after changing planning space and method.The developing technology and method applied in each module in ground control system for Micro-UAV discussed in this paper had certain foresightedness. This paper had laid foundation for follow-up study.
