The buoyant tower drilling and production platform can work in180meters water depth and can be moved. It can save small marginal oilfield development cost. It can store the crude oil.The buoyant tower drilling and production platform construction work is mainly composed of several stages of work:land formation; the buoyant tower weight and center of gravity measurement; the buoyant tower shipment; the buoyant tower discharge and fixed installation.So the buoyant tower shipment is very important and it affects the success of the whole project.The hull of the buoyant tower is columnar structure of marine engineering, the shipment process is more special.This paper design and analyse the shipment process of the first buoyant tower in the world, analyzed and optimized the structures through the finite element simulation of the shipment process. The main content of this paper can be concluded as follows:Firstly, simple introduce the shipment process of the buoyant tower and the development of finite element method, which provides the theoretical foundation for subsequent research work.Secondly, design the buoyancy tower platform Shipment project. Expound the support structure of box beam and cradle design and optimization idea. Prove the rationality of the design by theoretical calculation and finite element strength analysis.Finally, research the hull and the topside of the buoyant tower shipment process with the help of FEA software, analyse the strength of the structure in detail.The Results has a certain guiding significance for the buoyant tower platform structure design.This research method of buoyant tower platform shipment process strength analysis process is applicable to the ABS classification rules, the process can be applied to similar offshore platform structure shipment strength analysis. This research method has important practical significance and wide applicability.
