Compensator reinforced by wire cloth consists of inner bellows, outer wire cloth and catheters on both sides of bellow. The compensators are widely used in various fields, especially in the aerospace playing an important role. So we need compensator reinforced by wire cloth with increasingly high performance requirement. The main consideration is dynamics performance in the aerospace. From this point, this article did the follow research:1. We researched the analysis method of the compensator reinforced by wire cloth to find a good method;2. We developed the bending experiment to know the mechanical properties of compensator reinforced by woven wire cloth, because of its complex structure;3. We analyzed compensator reinforced by woven wire cloth by the finite element method. Firstly, we must ensure the accuracy of the finite element analysis model. We established a finite element analysis model, then the experimental results and finite element analysis results were compared to prove the reliability of finite element analysis.4. Secondly, we used finite element analysis model to calculate its dynamics properties, mainly modal analysis and fatigue analysis in the different temperature. Applied loads are according to actual working condition. The calculation results were compared under different working conditions. Finally, when the compensator reinforced by woven wire cloth was used actually, the damaged position was often the right pipe, so it is necessary to calculate the stress concentration factor.
