| Cars are the product of modern human civilization and represent the level of human manufacturing development.Cars have become the preferred means of transportation for more and more people.With the rapid increase of car ownership,a series of social problems have also emerged.Car weight loss has become a core issue in the development of the automotive industry.Among all the heavy measures,the weight reduction effect of the hub is particularly significant,so the weight reduction of the automobile hub becomes an inevitable trend.In this paper,for a certain type of cast aluminum alloy wheel hub,the basic method of design and manufacture of modern automobile wheel hub is used to carry out the bending test and the finite element analysis of the radial test on the cast aluminum alloy wheel hub.The strength and stiffness of the hub are obtained,and the direction of the optimized design is determined.Then,the replacement of the lightweight material and the optimization of the size of the cast aluminum alloy wheel wheel make the cast aluminum alloy wheel achieve the purpose of weight reduction.The weight of the forged aluminum alloy wheel after weight reduction was reduced from 9.66 kg of cast aluminum alloy hub to 8.69 kg.Next,the bending test analysis of the forged aluminum alloy wheel hub after weight reduction is carried out,and the optimized aluminum alloy wheel hub meets the strength requirement.The size of the external excitation frequency is not within the same range as the external excitation frequency,and the fatigue life analysis is finally carried out,and finally the weight-reduced forged aluminum alloy wheel hub meeting the performance requirements is obtained.According to the aluminum alloy wheel hub design after weight reduction,the forging is formed by straight forging process,and the obtained forging has good forming effect.Next,the mechanical properties of the formed weight-reducing hub were tested,including bending fatigue test,radial fatigue test and 13° impact test.The test results were far superior to the national standards,and the aluminum alloy wheels after weight reduction were also verified.The accuracy of the simulation. |
