As a new mode of transportation, Drop and Pull Transport is of great significance to improve the operating efficiency of the vehicle and reduce the cost of logistics and transport, promote energy conservation, and promote the development of green logistics. In2010, the government began to increase efforts to promote the development of Drop and Pull Transport and make clear the implementation of the road pull transport "as a key field of energy saving tasks. With the increasing efforts of the Government, many provinces and areas is now carrying out Left-Hanging Transportation. The development of Drop and Pull Transport in our country is slowly back to track.As a kind of clean energy, LPG has a wide further market, but the advantage of LPG transportation scheduling is mainly in the tank container multimodal transport. Road transport accounts for a large proportion throughout the transportation process of the LPG and the costs of road transport are always high. Facing the opportunities and challenges of LPG development, the paper wants to apply the Drop and Pull Transport to the road transport process of LPG, in order to improve the LPG road transport efficiency and reduce transportation costs, improve the competitiveness of LPG in the clean energy market.The paper analyzes the necessary for the LPG to carry out road Drop and Pull Transport from the following aspects, like the output, station layout, the characters of LPG and the efforts and support policy of government, and so on. Then it chose a reasonable form of organization for LPG. According to the cargo demand of LPG inland nodes the paper establishes mathematical model based on reasonable hypothesis. The model is mainly to solve how to carry out the cycle LPG Drop and Pull Transport to get the least number of tractors and the lowest total costs if each tractor has maximum mileage restrictions every day, and the collection nodes have delivery time window constraints conditions. The model adopts the improved Tabu Search Algorithm solve the problem and finally gives reasonable route of LPG cycle Drop and Pull Transport scheduling.
