Now the international society are paying more attention to the environmental problems and it is imperative to develop the clean energy.In last few years, there was a rapid development of the wind power industry in China. On the one hand, the total installed capacity had become the first in the world.On the other hand, the frequent failure of the wind turbine brings economic losses to the wind farm. Now the way of routine inspection or service after breakdown is inefficient and High maintenance costs. The monitoring system which the wind farm equiped is integrated designed, coupled and not flexible.the system also do not realize the distribute monitoring.For the situation mentioning above, this article using the multi-agent technology to design the condition monitoring system of wind farm.the underlyer agent collected the data from the monitoring object and then analyzed, finally the processed data upload to the upper agent which is responsible for the management and coordination.To solve the problem of coupling between software and hardware, the upper layer agent supervised underlying agent using the way of managing the operating privilege when added or reduced the monitoring object without changing the upper layer software, the data should be processed by FFT and wavelet transform to get the failure characteristic, in order to improve the efficiency.the system introduced the distributed computing and assigned the complex computing task to each underlying agent.This system based on contract net protocol, the upper agent judge bid document from the underlying agent and then sign the task contract.Sensors and embedded systems make up the bottom hardware.the top layer software based on J2EE standard and SSH2framework.Using the browser/server mode can save the system resource, the client and server also exploit their advantage to the full.Lightweight SSH2framework inheritanced the merits from the Struts2that handle the page request efficently while the Spring framework play a important role in service layer, finally the Hibernate encapsulated the JDBC that make the modification to the least when the data persistence layer changed.the wind turbine communicate with the control room through the WLAN which follow the TCP/IP protocol.The experimental results shows that this system could monitor the operating condition of each basic unit of wind turbine in real time.the monitoring of each unit and wind turbine were independent as well as not affect.
