With the rapid development of the national economy, national electricity demands increase sharply. At the same time, the users put forward a higher demand on the stability and reliability of the power system. The high-voltage switchgear is important electrical control equipment in the power system. The high-voltage switchgear isolator switch, activity contacts, cable head, compensation capacitor, reactance and other parts prone to occurred oxidation and lose phenomena, and then enable the device local temperature to elevated. Especially in the wild unattended substation which prolonged under high load, the key point more prone to occurred overheating phenomenon. If not promptly discovered and treatment, the loss rang from switchgear damage to widespread blackouts and huge economic losses.At present, the high-voltage switchgear optical fiber temperature real-time monitoring system is divided into three parts which contains foreground data show software, background data acquisition software and MySQL database. The foreground is responsible for data displaying, the background is responsible for data collection and the database is responsible for data sharing, storage and so on; the foreground development tool is NetBean, language is Java; the background development tool is C++Builder, language is C++, need to manually configure the MySQL database. There are several problems in the system such as complex installation and configuration, low integration level, low efficiency, instability and weak bloated database.A high-voltage switchgear real-time optical fiber temperature monitoring software platform is redesigned and developed in this paper. The platform development tool is Microsoft Visual Studio2008, language is C++and the database is Access. The platform is of simple installation and configuration, high integration, high efficiency, high stability, and database streamlining:simple installation and configuration:the platform needless to install MBDS, JRE and have a self-configuration capabilities; high integrated:the platform sets data collection, analysis, processing, display, storage, query, configuration, CDT communications, spectrum analysis and other functions into one, fully functional, centralized information; high efficiency:the platform development language is C++, there is no foreground and background of the points, don’t need the database to achieve data sharing, have higher efficiency; high stability:the platform is tested for a long time run, the performance is stable and reliable; streamlined database:database compression technology and metamorphism metamorphosis storage technology are used in the platform, the database is very concise. This platform is a professional software platform which is easy to use and which has full function, stable performance and streamline database.The platform also has characteristics of high degree of modularity and better scalability. High degree of modularity:platform uses UML(Unificd modeling language) modeling, the modules have explicit mandate and the hierarchy is clear between the modules, the module has characteristics of high cohesion and low coupling; better scalability:object-oriented programing ideal is adopt in the platform, packaging details, embracing changes, has a strong scalability and elasticity.The real-time high-voltage switchgear optical fiber temperature monitoring software platform is a professional software platform for switchgear temperature monitoring, which is widely used to monitor the switchgear temperature automatically in substations, power distribution room. It provides a one-stop switchgear temperature real-time monitoring solutions for modern power system.
