Firstly, the development and research status of arch bridge is introduced in this thesis. Secondly, the basic theory of the finite element method is introduced simply. At last, the BaiLongJiang long bridge that is a part of the railway, which is used to transport guests and goods from Cheng Du to Lan Zhou, is taken as study background and the MIDAS/Civil, which is a big space finite element software, is used to do homologous study about mechanical property, stability and aseismicity and so on.The main research contents are as follows:1. The study on the reasonable parameter choice of railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge. The parameter contain rise-span ratio, quotiety of arch axis, arrangement of arch superstructure and size of box arch ring section. The relatively reasonable parameter of railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge can be found by contrast and analysis about these parameter. Furthermore, the horizontal rigidity issue of railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge is deeply discussed.2. The stability analysis of railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge. Two kinds of stability problem are introduced and eigenvalue stability problem of railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge is studied at two kinks of states in this thesis. The stability of railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge is got.3. The dynamic characteristic and the antiseismic ability problem of railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge. The free oscillation theory, response spectrum analysis theory and time-history analysis theory is introduced in this thesis. The dynamic characteristic and the antiseismic ability of railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge are studied in this thesis. The conclusion on the dynamic characteristic and the antiseismic ability of railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge is got by the result of analysis.Finaly, some important conclusion about railway long span deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge is gave, which is based on study result. Several issues that need to be furtherly studied are proposed.
