In recent years, the railway business in China has achieved rapid development, and the high-speed train operating mileage has been ranked first in the world, but the key technologies of the high-speed train network control system are always in the hands of large foreign companies such as Siemens and Mitsubishi, so how to realize the independent innovation about this is an urgent issue.The studies are all dependent on the research of the high-speed train network control system(Project No.:2009BAG-12A06), which is the sub-topics of the project about the key technology and equipment research on the China high-speed train that supported by the national science and technology support program. In view of the present situation of train network control system and the unique advantages of Ethernet, the IEC613752-5protocol(Ethernet train backbone, ETB) published by the International Electrotechnical Commission is studied deeply. Then the train communication network based on ETB is built by using the OPNET network simulation software, and it is compared with the pure software modeling and simulating of traditional Ethernet. At last, a semi-physical simulation model of the communication about high-speed train vehicle equipment with ETB is set up.The main work includes:Firstly, the study on the IEC613752-5protocol is finished deeply, and then the differences between it and the traditional Ethernet protocol are compared, and finally the technical solution of applying it to the train control network is analyzed.Secondly, the three-layer modeling mechanism of OPNET network simulation software is studied deeply, and then the modeling and simulating of Ethernet and ETB is completed by using OPNET. The main work about this includes:the designs of the network model, node model and process model are completed according to the protocols, and the simulation communication networks are constructed. Then the simulation parameters are configured, and the simulation data are collected after the simulation finished. According to the simulation results, the different performances under the same network throughput between the two kinds of network are compared. After the bandwidth of ETB is increased to1000Mb/s, the analyses of collected data are completed, and the data show that ETB is really superior.According to the simulation results, the performances of ETB such as network delay, throughput and packet loss ratio are better than them of Ethernet, and its real-time performance and reliability can meet the demand of train communication, so ETB can be applied to the train network control system feasibly.Lastly, a piece of MVB network card and a piece of embedded industrial computer motherboard are used to construct the data communication model of the vehicle equipment. Then the communication between vehicle equipment and MVB bus administrator is realized according to the MVB protocol. Finally, the communication between vehicle equipment and ETB is completed by using SOCKET, so as the semi-physical simulation model of the communication between high-speed train vehicle equipment and ETB is built, and the communication test between them is finished.The simulation results show that ETB can be easily applied to the train network control system. The thesis has a certain value in engineering applications.
