Study On Urban Development Strategic Transformation Based On Society-space Structure

In21st Century, human beings have entered into a new phase of modernizationdevelopment, in which city becomes the main part of the development, and theproblems in city development have also drawn so much attention. The problemsinvolved in urban development strategy are directional, global and long-termproblems in the process of urban development and management, including the pattern,guideline, policy, approach and so on of strategic objectives. The choice of urbandevelopment strategy has significant impact and effect on future urban development,especially in China. Since the reform and opening up in1978, China entered a rapidtransformation period in society and economy. In the process of transferring fromplanned economy to socialist market economic system, factors, such as thetransformation of social structure in the city, rapid expansion and internalreorganization of urban space in the rapid urbanization process, diversification ofurban development driving force and so on, has brought remarkable changes to thesocial space structure of cities in China. The phenomenon of social spatial variation incities is becoming obvious every day. In order to carry out urban development strategy,the key is to achieve better rationalization in economy and social structure in urbandevelopment strategy. Therefore, the research of social spatial structure and urbandevelopment strategic transformation is urgently in need.Therefore, through the statement of urban strategic transformation and itsrelevant concept and meaning, the article is aiming to achieve the following goal:Build the driving force system for urban strategic transformation based on thetheory of society-space structure and present three kinds of development patterns of urban strategic transformation so as to set up theoretical foundation for the creation ofresearch in this field. Meanwhile, combine the “urban optimizing strategy” of “urbanbuilding and optimizing strategy” in one of the “five urban developing strategy” inChengdu, as known as the “the project of northern city redevelopment” in Chengdu,and make empirical analysis upon the fact. Based on the analysis of developmentstatus, key element and development pattern of spatial structure in Chengdu, useChengdu as typical case of urban development strategic transformation, make positiveand beneficial exploration in the field of enriching urban strategic transformation andachieve strong and practical significance in the decision making of urbandevelopment strategic transformation in real life.
