The Calculation And Finite Element Analysis Of Ship Block’s Lifting

As modern shipbuilding basically adopts the block system, so the lifting and turn of the block become an important working procedure in the hull construction. In order to ensure the safety of blocks, equipment and personnel, avoid serious deformation and damage of blocks, we need to calculate carefully for the lifting and turn process and set reasonable lifting scheme. Making a good lifting scheme has great effect on the quality and berth cycle of the ship to be built.This paper chooses the LNG barge of Wison Marine co. Ltd. as the research object. The purpose is to make the lifting calculation and map the drawing of the blocks. The main contents are as follows.First, take the HB05P block for instance, formulate reasonable lifting method, simple introduce the steps of the block lifting, preparation before lifting and the matters needing attention, map the drawing of lifting.Second, calculate the rope load when lifting and turning the block, design the lifting eyes in accordance with the specification requirements, check the strength of the lifting eyes and structure under the lifting eyes, check the strength of welding line at the lifting eyes and under the lifting eyes.Then, Use the finite element analysis software to establish the models of the lifting eyes and ship block, make strength analysis, and compare the finite element analysis results with the results of calculation.At last, through above calculation, form the Excel calculation template for the lifting calculation of other blocks.
