Location Research Of Hinterland Dry Port Based On The Monopolistic Location Model

After decades of development, Hinterland Dry Port has been very mature in foreign countries, though our Hinterland Dry Ports started late, there has been developed into four large dry port groups in coastal areas with rapid development. However, with the further development of China’s economy, the increasing inland areas’ openness the objective needs of construction of Hinterland Dry Port are increasingly intense.Under our country extending Hinterland Dry Ports constantly objective background, this paper based on very few dry ports and which are far away from the harbor inland, studied location model with monopolistic builds inland dry ports sites selection model for the problem of location of Hinterland Dry Port.During the research, firstly comprehensively summarized the existing research results and analyzed China’s Hinterland Dry Ports connotations, from aspects of the dry ports definition, function, classification and the development of motivation and development situation. Then, based on the dry ports connotations analyzing, from the inherent law of development of dry ports,analyzed the impact factors like economic, policy, traffic for Hinterland Dry Ports location. Clearing factors, the paper according to the Hinterland Dry Ports away from the harbors, lack of competition, and the policy factors lead to inherent monopoly, the location of Hinterland Dry Port location problem is abstracted as a monopolistic location problem, and built models, designed solving method. Finally, this paper backgrounded with the developing dry ports in Henan Province, selected the main transport nodes within the area as candidate sites, according to the actual economic data analyzed the Arguments of site selection model, bring the Arguments into the model, get results successfully, after analysis of the results, proved the rationality and validity of the model, and also provided a useful reference for the Henan region Hinterland Dry Port location.During a comprehensive study of Hinterland Dry Ports site selection process, summarized the development problems of Hinterland Dry Port in the organizational model, building mechanisms, planning and designing, operations management.At the end of the paper, briefly described crux of the problems during our Hinterland Dry Ports developing process, and made recommendations accordingly, hoping to promote the research and development of China’s Hinterland Dry Ports.
