With the rapid development of our social economy, the demand and service level for railway transportation of enterprise has new requirements. In order to meet the transport demand and solve the problems existing in the railway, such as the tight capacity, poor timeliness and so on. Railways ministry carries out a new mode of transportation organization, which is direct-connection transportation organization between enterprise and railroad. It changes the organization way of car flow of enterprise. And in the process of transport, the cost is different under various organization ways, therefore, the problem of direct-connection car flow organization needed to study. The core of the paper is to system analyze the direct-connection transportation organization, then use optimal models to research what kinds of organization scheme of car flow spending minimal time in the enterprise and the process of transportation. The details of research are as follows:(1) The analysis of influencing factors and train operating conditions for direct-connection transportation organization. First of all, studied the process of direct-connection transportation organization; secondly, based on the process analysis of direct-connection transportation organization, considered the factors such as the equipment, the supply of goods and freight flow organization; finally, analyzed the operating conditions of through train, from several aspects, that is conditions of direct-connection enterprise, conditions of the connection and conditions of direct train organization.(2) Analyzed the time of car organization for direct-connection transportation. The article analyzed the time of each work in the direct-connection enterprise, which is loading station, during transport and unloading station; and the time in the link of the different ways of car organization,(3) Optimization model building of car flow organization of direct-connection transportation. The paper established an optimal model which set the decision variables according to different transport ways and make the transport cost minimum as optimization. Then it given a numerical example and solved with LINGO software.(4) Research on the problem of empty wagon distribution. By analyzing the transport way of empty wagons, it built a network optimization model which is composed of enterprise, technical stations and unloading stations.
