Wall insulation is not only one of the main measures of building energy efficiency,but also one of the main construction safety factors. The terrible fire of the new building of CCTV,Shenyang royal wan xin building and11.5in Shanghai, haven brought huge losses of lives and property,and caused widespread concern.In the accident, the combustion of exterior wall thermal insulation material caused the further spread of the fire and poison gas,that caused an immeasurable loss. External thermal insulation materials are facing the unprecedented challenges, how to choose, how to improve the outer insulation fireproof rank and safety performance has become the prime problem of the related fields.In recent years,the requirement of wall insulation materials has been further enhanced in our state. The state explicitly required the combustion performance of wall insulation materials of civil buildings to be class A.Foam concrete is a kind of ideal material with class A combustion performance,low density,fire resistance,sound insulation and other advantages.At present,the use of the use of foam concrete in wall insulation is confined in the foam concrete blocks and insulation board, and it is not yet mature cast-in-place and lack of appropriate new technology in foam concrete wall cast-in-place.This paper summarized the status quo at home and abroad of the foam concrete firstly.then studied on the performances which should be considered in wall insulation,such as thermal conductivity, water absorption, fire resistance.Through the reach of thermal conductivity of different dry density levels,we got a relationship figure of the thermal conductivity increasing with different dry density this range.It analysis the effect of foam quality, density, water-cement ratio, cementitious materials and water repellent to water absorption,and arrived at a best water repellent parameter which will has a positive effect on water absorption. As fire performance is one of the important properties of the external wall insulation materials,in this paper,we know the impact of burning for compressive strength through burning different dry density rating specimen.Finally,we analysis the feasibility of the foam concrete wall cast-in-place process,and design a kind of foam concrete wall cast-in-place insulation system, including the scope,technical requirements, reinforced grid and skeleton process, template and pouring curing process and the surface layer process.This system is another big step for foam concrete using on wall and itself development.
