Today, Chinese textile industry faces the challenges and problems of transformation and upgrading because of market competition and economic development. In recent decades, fast fashion companies, such as ZARA, H&M, S.Oliver who rise rapidly gave China garment enterprises very good role models and template to learn from.But now, China’s garment enterprises, especially fast fashion companies still have a large gap between from international ’big brand’enterprises in the management model and the technical. Particularly in the field of apparel product designing, due to the limitations of the traditional modes of teaching, researching and product design management, Chinese fast fashion company has the problem of ’being not fast’ and not ’fashionable’. From the technical aspects, China garment enterprises do not lack the financial and technical means to carry out the construction of a modern management, but lack for the skill and knowledge about how to manage and build a fast fashion design management system. That causing management techniques and tools can not be good for the design of Practice.This article analyzes the fast fashion business model, combined with case studying, researcher learn from the theory of Product Life-cycle Management (PLM), advance implementation design management based on the idea of the PLM model in fast fashion companies, including:PLM design models, design process, design form of programs, design resources management, designing organization management. Finally, researcher evaluated the performance of the PLM design management case and non-domestic PLM design management case by the balanced scorecard tool. Based on questionnaire data analysis, researcher believes PLM design management has the effect of proving enterprise financial indicators, customer value, internal process management, improving and learning ability.Researcher hopes:through this article of domestic enterprises and design institutions could recognize foreign fast fashion enterprise PLM design management of successful experience, to improve China own fast fashion brands.
