With the increasing of the national policy support to the LED lighting industry, LEDdriving power supply industry is now booming. How to improve the efficiency is a difficultproblem to the power supply designer, and the methods could improve the efficiency aregained more attentions. Improving the efficiency of the LED drive power supply, on one handc increase the utilization rate of electric energy, on the other hand will enhance the reliabilityof the whole circuit, could extend the internal components of the life of the power supply, atthe same time, to solve the efficiency problem of power will bring huge economic benefitsand social benefits.First of all, the main loss in the power supply design is analyzed in this paper, there isalso a study on the methods to reduce the loss; Giving a parameter optimization method andSimulation analysis to the RC snubber circuit which is widespread application in Engineering.The simulation results show that the parameter optimization method can reduce the loss andimprove the efficiency. And then introduce the principle of Power Factor Corrector whichcontrolled by the mode of Fixed-off-time (FOT) and the process of design in detail. Finally,the LLC resonant converter is designed and the main chip model of LLC resonant converter isestablished. The design and simulation of a two-stage LED lamp driver whose power reached150W is completed. The simulation results show that the efficiency of the power supplyreaches92.3%.
