Currently, wind energy to be one of the main concern of renewable energy, the countriesin the world have invested a lot of efforts dedicated to the wind energy industry, active effortsto improve use efficiency of wind energy. However, as more and more wind turbines on alarge number of the grid the wind erratic changes caused by fluctuations of the wind turbineoutput power is more and more serious impact on the security and stability of the grid.Reasonable energy storage in wind power system can weaken the impact of fluctuations inthe output power on the grid. This high efficiency and pollution-free new energy storagemethod will have broad prospects for development in the industrialized energy storage field.Firstly, introduce several common wind turbines and their characteristics, analyze themajor problems of wind power, such as key technology and wind power, based on themathematical model of the direct-drive permanent magnet wind turbine, build the simulationmodel, including wind speed model, wind turbine model, transmission model, generatormodel and control mechanism model. Simulated wind speed, wind energy utilizationcoefficient and output power, torque, squiggles, studied how to get wind energy utilizationfactor, output power, torque optimal value.Secondly, describes several common characteristics of energy storage technologies andanalysis of the flywheel energy storage body composition, characteristics and applications,based on the mathematical models of flywheel energy storage mechanism, Build a simulationmodel, including the charging model and discharge model. Simulated single-phase current,induced electromotive force, waveform of the rotor speed curve, By varying the moment ofinertia, friction coefficient and the number of pole pairs study the change of rotational speedof the rotor, and in which to find an optimal set of parameters,so as to improve the efficiencyof the flywheel energy storage mechanism purposes.Finally, study the applications of the flywheel energy storage mechanism in stand-aloneand grid-connected wind electrical field, and build a mathematical model based on flywheelenergy storage mechanism connected wind electrical field simulation model. Simulateddifferent sampling time wind speed, the output power waveform curve, through access to theflywheel energy storage mechanism output waveform curve before and after comparison, wecan get, flywheel energy storage mechanism can be well carried on the wind power outputtracking adjustment and effective control.
