With the continuous development of China railway, especially with theopening and operation of the passenger lines,China high-speed railway hasentered a rapid development period with an increasing demand on the railwaysafety, high-speed and efficiency. China railway needs high-performancerailway train control system to provide the necessary guarantee for the train’ssafe operation. In order to adapt to the development of China’s railwaydevelopment better, the railway technology institute has learned the successfulexperience from ETCS and made a strategy named CTCS (China Train ControlSystem) suitable for China’s national conditions.In accordance with the computer simulation technology,the main functionof the CTCS-3train control system simulation platform is to simulate theCTCS-3train control system’s working principle and to provide a testenvironment for the critical equipments, using the semi-physical simulationapproach. The platform can be used for function testing, safety testing,interoperability testing, fault injection, analysis and demonstration of the actualtest cases, as well as playback of the test cases. At the same time, the computersimulation and test technology has greatly improved the development andgeneration of CTCS standards.The interface information server is an important part of the CTCS-3traincontrol system simulation test platform, and it serves as a bridge used for thecommunication of all equipments in the CTCS-3simulation test platform. Thispaper mainly studies the interface information server based on the VS2008development environment. The paper first describes the test platformdevelopment environment, system architecture, the functions and the interfaceinformation of all the subsystems; then the paper details the Ethernetcommunication and serial communication of the interface information server, focusing on UML modeling and promiscuous mode in the Ethernetcommunication technology and serial communication technology. Finally,according to the CTCS-3train control system test cases, this paper tests thesimulation platform entirely, especially the interface information server. Theresults show that the interface information server can satisfy the designrequirement and plays an important role in the CTCS-3train control systemsimulation test platform of high-speed train operation control system lab.
