With With the constant expansion of the city, the city’s rapid economic development and raising the level of modernization, Rail traffic has become the city’s best public transport system and has been great development. Urban rail mass transit vehicle is an important tool in the transportation of passengers, number of vehicles, variety, quality and technical level of direct impact on urban development scale and speed of rail traffic. With the development of science and technology, urban rail vehicles also made rapid development. In the urban rail vehicle traction, braking is still in the initial stage of detection. The traction motor is the main motor of the driver the vehicle unit, and it is an important part of the urban rail vehicles. Its operating performance is directly related to the locomotive traction performance and directly determines the locomotive can operate normally or not.With the rapid development of power electronics technology, variable frequency technology, In the original theory and technology. Application of optimization algorithms, high-precision instrumentation, precision sensors and advanced control methods. Application of existing computer equipment, industrial control equipment (PLC), bus equipment, database systems, etc. constitute a complete set of analog traction system that allows for more accurate simulation of the traction system and data analysis possible.This article describes a simulation traction system based on computer, the PIC, inverle AC asynchronous motor. The upper machine of the system is a computer which has equipped with the software of step7. starter and WinCC, to monitor the operation of the system: the nether machine use the PLC which belong Siemens S7-300series, to control the AC motor running in the simulation traction system, and read and handle the operating parameters of traction motor, and stored the parameters in the corresponding data block which can be read anytime; the simulation traction system use Siemens Sinamics S120converter to drive the motors, and it can control the motor precisly.Firstly the article describes the research background and the current situation and development of the urban railway vehicle detection technology.and determine the composition of the simulate traction system; Secondly,introduces the running Principle of urban rail traction system.and analyzes traction and running resistance during operation of urban railway vehicles: and then presented the hardware and software design of the simulation traction system, and the function of various parts. Finally, the simulation traction system can be realized to finish some of the function by the test of no-load starting,load startup accelerated and load Braking deceleration,and give some improvement suggestions...
