| Project organization and integrated management of vehicle development process are key technologies during vehicle independent development; they are not only decisive to vehicle development quality, efficiency and cost, but also the vital foundation of our country’s vehicle independent development. PATAC and SGM introduced GM’s Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP) into new products development, Shanghai Global Vehicle Development Process (SVDP) is being formed gradually, which accords with our country’s need. Under this background, the thesis not only does deep research on the introduction, absorption, and innovation of GVDP, but also fully concludes it.First, this thesis gives introduction to project management’s basic definition & principium, project’s totally life cycle and process management methods, which includes project milestones and reviews. Then, it analyses the methods of GVDP, focuses on vehicle development organization forms, project time planning, cost and quality control methods, taking VPI project initialization quality valve and deliverables as examples to describe how to control time, cost and quality during vehicle development. Based on this, SVDP was made and then analyzed. It mainly does research on the vehicle development project’s system structure, development process, organization forms and project operating modes based on SVDP, which includes seven phases: Pre-research, styling design and freezing, engineering design and release, engineering verification and product continuing improvement and after sale problem solving. At last, according to our country’s vehicle development and related suppliers’characteristics, it built independent development process, project management, deliverables definition and process control system’s criterion based on SDVP. Vehicle integrated development project development abilities were acquired, which were international competitive.Theories and methods of SVDP proposed in this thesis were fully applied to develop new vehicle LACROSSE. Not only the project’s background, input, development deepness, project milestones, quality valves and deliverables, but also the cost control and its operating results were fully analyzed and concluded.This thesis not only contributes to build new product independent development abilities of PATAC and SGM, but also points out the direction of our country’s vehicle joint-stock corporations’self-centered independent development. |
