Qingyin No.1oat is used to investigate the effect of different combination ofnitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer on oats yield and constituent traits ofyield from2009to2010in Huangzhong county, Qinghai. The results were asfollows:1Effect of on grass and hay yieldNitrogen nuturient is crucial factor limiting the grass yield of oat. Under certainphosphorus and potassium fertilizer, the grass yield of oats increased firstly and thendecreased with the increasing of nitrogen fertilizer consumption. The fresh grass yieldand hay yield of OPT (N225kg/hm2, P2O5105kg/hm2,K2O60kg/hm2) are thehighest, respectively74632.4kg/hm2and26517.9kg/hm2, which are respectively39.0%and43.0%higher than that of control.2Effect of on seed yield and seed yield composition traitsPhosphorus are the crucial factor affecting seed yield. Under certain nitrogen andpotassium, the seed yield increased firstly and then decreased, with the increasing ofphosphate fertilizer consumption. The seed yield reach the highest7293.1kg/hm2with105kg/hm2phosphorus application, which is42.1%higher than that of thecontrol.The phosphorus fertilizer significantly increases effective tiller number, paniclelength, number of spike, grains, grain weight, seed length and seed width. Undercertain nitrogen and potassium, these traits of seed yield increased firstly and thendecreased, with the increasing of phosphorus fertilizer consumption.The panicle length, grain weight, seed length and seed width are the highestunder OPT, which are respectively24.95cm,4.61g/plant,1.379cm and0.339cm. Theeffective tiller number is the highest under OPT+1/2P, which is2.77/plant. While thespike number and the grain numbers are the highest under the OPT-1/2P, which arerespectively44.52/plant and77.96/panicle.3Analysis of economic benefitsThe income from grass production and seed production with the OPT treatment are the highest, respectively21791.7RMB yuan/hm2and26256.5RMB yuan/hm2,5053.7RMB yuan/hm2and7032.7RMB yuan/hm2more than that of control.In general, the optimum fertilizer combination is N225kg/hm2, P2O5105kg/hm2,K2O60kg/hm2in the similar region of Qinghai province.
