The maize hybrids of Zhenghong series occupy an importent place on maize production and become the mainly cultivars in Sichuan there can stand for the southwest. So study on the productivity and stability of maize hybrids of Zhenghong series and confirm the superiority cultivated area have an great significant in practice guidline to enhance the application and increase farmers production and income. Evaluate the synthesize of combinations of Zhenghong series to confirm the potential cultivate area, supply the substance reserved of new varietys selection in Sichuan and mainly area of the southwest; study the influence of the yield componet traits on yield, to find out the yield componet traits of the potential combinations of Zhenghong, and give an orentation of improved variety with good method form a complete set and new varietys breeding for the future. Study on 8 Zhenghong maize hybrids and 48 potential combinations, of which the 8 hybrids have experiment in Sichuan regional test for many years and 48 new potential combinations were experimented for multi plot test, the results shows:1.The productivity of 8 hybrids:The yield of Zhenghong2, Zhenghong6, Zhenghong102, Zhenghong211, Zhenghong311 increased compared with contral and the extent were over 10%, of which Zhenghong2,Zhenghong6 and Zhenghong311 was the first for 2 years, and increased at every plot, indicate that the 3 hybrids’ productivity have more prominet, have great potentials in increase the yield.2. The stability of yield of the 8 hybrids:the 8 hybrids have a good bi value, and Zhenghong115 and Zhenghong311 is the best; and the HSCi value of Zhenghong2, Zhenghong6, Zhenghong102, Zhenghong311 and Zhenghong505 are more than the control obviously, that means they were high productive and stability varietys, have highly adaptable; but Zhenghong532 have a lower bi and HSCi value means it is lower of productivity an stability of yield.3.The promotion regional of 8 hybrids:Comprehensive analysis shows that, the promotion regional extent of Zhenghong2, Zhenghong115, Zhenghong211 is 400-600kg/667m2, Zhenghong6 and Zhenghong102 is 300-600 kg/667m2;Zhenghong311 is 300-600 kg/667m2.Zhenghong6,Zhenghong102 and Zhenghong311 have different increase yield compare with the control in the 300-600 kg/667m2, indicate that these hybrid have highly adaptable and suitable for a wide cultivat range.The increasing yield of Zhenghong2 and Zhenghong311 were improving with the enhance of environment index,means they have big yield improving potential;Zhenghong2 and Zhenghong311 have more yield improving potential as if they cultivate in the area with environment idex of 400 kg/667m2.4.The performance of quality and resistanc of the 8 hybrids:Zhenghong102 and Zhenghong115 have the highest wolume weight of 772g/L and 774g/L respectively, arrival the commodity level standard;for Zhenghong102,zhenghong6,zhenghong311 have the highest protein of 11.9%,10.8%,10.8% respectively, Zhenghong102 achieve the edible first grade standards;Zhenghong211,zhenghong102 have the highest starches of 79.6% and 79.2% respectively, is high starch corn.Zhenghong102 and zhenghong311 arrivaled the primary standard in commodity, fodder and industry, arrivaled second standard in edible, that indicate the two hybrids have high quality, extensive use, good commercial, can be the fine material in the starch fermentation and food processing.Artificial inoculation of disease and insect results showed the 8 maize hybrids is resistent to the main disease and insect of maize.5.The potential promotion area and performance of productivity of the 48 potential combinations: there were different performance of the 48 potential combinations in the different ecological areas representative place. Taken together, the potential new combinations ZH214 and ZH253 have the trend of significant increase yield in Shuangliu, Ya’an and Dazhou, means these hybrids have fine ecological adaptation, and suitable for a wide cultivat range, can jion the corrensponding ecological area test of provincail or national regional test, do prepare the way for its futere promotion.6.Based on the corrrelation and path analysis showed:the yield componet traits on yield of zhenghong series, the highest contribution rate to the yield is row kernel number.followed ear diameter, ear length, ear row number.
