Tea belongs to the tropical, subtropical crops, which will not adapt when it is transplanted tothe northern regions, and in recent years, the tea also appeared of different level damage andreduction of output. In order to guide the rational tea planting and expand the scale reasonably, the urgent thing is to study which area is suitable for cultivation of tea in Rizhao which willreduce the loss of economic that caused by blind planting, and also can provide some basisrecommendations for the optimal allocation of Rizhao’s land resources. This paper based on the field investigation and data collection, firstly, to combine the realityof Rizhao’s natural conditions distribution, and to analysis the climate, soil, topography and soon, to study which natural conditions must meet when the tea is planted in northern regions. Then, it must screen of the suitable evaluation factor, in order to build the correspondingevaluation quota system, and evaluate the natural conditions of tea planting which is the mostsuitable of the regional distribution to use the GIS software. Finally, According to the analysisresults before tea suitable environment natural regionalization. this division level is two grade, adivision, spatial overlay method applied to soil type and topography of the vector layers aresuperimposed, and set certain standards, will be divided into 4 levels, each with differentsuitability; two divisions, first establishes the ecological a fitness model, through the preparationof the AML language, calculates the relative humidity, wind speed, soil pH value in winter etc,10 natural factors in the distribution of the suitability index, these index will rise integratedly, compute the ecological niche suitability index, and at the level of division basis, according to thecomprehensive index distribution, divided into 13different tea planting suitability of the twodistrict. Finally according to the division result to put forward Rizhao City tea plant rationallayout and optimization suggestion. In this paper, the main conclusions are as follows:(1) in addition to the southeast coastal, the southwestern of Juxian, the northern of Wulianand West Lake, three village, Chen Tuan and other towns near the region, the climate is verysuitable for tea cultivation.(2) The soil type in all the region which is suitable for cultivation of tea distribution is wide, in addition to Ni, Cu, Cd elements causing the individual areas of mild pollution, overall soilenvironmental quality is better, most areas of soil pH value distribution is medium, so dofertility.(3) in addition to the study area in southeast coastal area and the study area of small portionof the flat central depression, the terrain conditions are suitable for tea cultivation in most of thewhole area.(4)Application of spatial overlay method to whole area by area location - soil - terrain isdivided into 4 region, including:1 the northwest low mountains and hills of tea is generallysuitable planting areas; II the mid-west plain hilly tea planting area; III in eastern mountain areaof tea of suitable planting area of the southeastern coastal plain; area of tea not suitable plantingareas. After on the basis of this, consider the climate, soil, topography and other major on thegrowth of tea has a pronounced effect on the microcosmic nature factor, combined with the nichefitness model, the whole area is divided into 13level two area, which has3 tea suitable plantingarea, 6 barely suitable planting areas, 4 non planting area, gross area is 1290.16km2,2862.58km2,1101.63km2respectively, occupy the whole area of 24.55%,54.48%,20.96%. Theresults show that the study area natural division, more than 75% of the area suitable for thecultivation of tea. Suitable planting tea areas are mainly distributed in the summer village, themiddle of the area and other regions.
