In China’s vast areas of northern China, Pinus tabulaeformis was an important tree species which the seed coating technology has broad application prospects in the Pinus tabulaeformis broadcast and particular aerial seeding. In this paper, a seed coating product was developed for Pine tabulaeformis by use chitosan as key materials, which has environmental safely and multi-function important application value in the seed coating formulations. Then a series screen of ingredients and active ingredients based on pines seed characteristics. What more, determined the optimal formula by the effect of drought stress on seed coating application, and the seed coating quality standards, shows that the coating could increase P.tabulaeformis germination rate, seedling rate, growth and soluble protein content. This research has certain theoretical basis and practical reference, but also can improve the formula research and application of trees’seed coating formulation.The results are as follows:1Chitosan composite film has good film-forming, low coating loss, and improve seed germination characteristics, the best composite formula of P. tabulaeformis seed-coating agent is0.2%CS+0.03g nano-TiO2.2By regression and optimization analysis ofbetter compatibility additives, shows that the best additives recipe of the optimal soaking time was48h, the medicine was1:50, composite formula was0.1%xanthan gum,0.1%perusal,0.1%lignin suffocate and0.6%carmine.3By orthogonal design rank the active ingredient of active ingredients. Followed by orthogonal design to further optimize the large and trace fertilizer, studies show that the best formula is0.05%urea and0.10%manganese sulfate. Through secondary rotation regression design to further optimize the other active ingredients, in95%confidence interval indicating that the dosage range for ABT was62.400mgg·L-1~87.600mg·L-1, GGR was20.800mg·L-1~29.200mg·L-1and water-retaining agent was0.123%-0.177%.4By check the seed coating formulations on germination characteristics in25%θf water content and breeding test of the best formulas, showed that seed-coating has significant promoting the seeds germination rate, root length, seedling height, and Root/Shoot Ratio. Which the formula H6was better, compared with the control, the germination rate, germination potential, germination index were increased by58.33%,43.86%,82.84%; seedling height, root length were increased by23.08%,49.31%; shoot dry weight and root dry weight were increased by29.37%,13.40%; shoot-ratio increased by14.67%; soluble sugar and soluble protein were increased by54.87%,94.82%. Seed coating quality of the measurement and evaluation, shows that this environmentally friendly hybrid seed coating formulations meet the suspended seed coating quality standards.
