The Research On The Value Assessment Of Forest Ecosystem Services Of Taiyue Mountain

Forest ecosystem plays a significant rule in safeguarding the environment and providing ecosystem service, and the valuation of forest ecosystem services is becoming a research hotspot. Based on the discussing of reviewing the concept, and the production mechanism of ecosystem services, the classification and the evaluation methods of ecological services function in the paper, and set Taiyue mountain as the research area, this study views from the perspectives of quality and value, using shadow engineering method, opportunity cost approach, market value method to evaluated the forest ecosystem services’economic values of Taiyue mountain. And attempted to guide the management of forest ecosystem, protection and rational use, achieved sustainable forest management and provided a theoretical basis and scientific way.Followings are the main results:In2004the warm temperate zone forest ecosystem’s services value of Shanxi Taiyue mountain is add up to6.241billion yuan (Chinese RMB), which consists of151million Yuan/a of economic benefits(production of organic substance);6.09billion Yuan/a of ecological benefits (ecological value). The ecological benefits of the forest are40.23times as the production of organic substance.service values among the ecological benefit include,2.463billion yuan/a of water storage;453million yuan/a of soil conservation;2.066billion yuan/a of carbon fixation and oxygen released;290million yuan/a of nutrient accumulation;441million yuan/a of Atmosphere environmental purification;377million yuan/a of Species conservation. Among those, water storage and soil conservation are more than70%of the total value.View from the different forest types, Pinus tabulaeformis provides2.769billion yuan/a of ecological services value; Larix principis-rupprechtii710million yuan/a; Querces liaotungensis1.769billion yuan/a; Arborvitae34million yuan/a; White birch270million yuan/a; Aspens189million yuan/a. Pinus tabulaeformis and Querces liaotungensis are the main types of Taiyue forest zone, and the ecological services values of the two types of trees are the the first and second respectively of all the trees types in Taiyue forest zone, and adds up to72.70%of the total value.Above all, by making a comparison between the forest farm of the province and Taiyue mountain forest bureau, and based on the the current situation of natural resources of the forest bureau, this paper made some recommendations in the management and protection of forest resources and construction, forest structure, compensation mechanism, forest Eco-tourism and universal awareness of ecological Protection. By strengthening management, that will play a full role to Taiyue forest bureau, and further enhance the value of their ecological benefits.
