The flower of Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat., perennial herbages plant in composite family, has been popularly used as traditional medicine and tea in China. It was also appointed as a traditional medicine and healthy food at the same time by the State Ministry of Health of China. This paper studied the effect of environment factors on the one of the eight cultivated forms Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat. cv.’chuju’. First, we were comparative analysis of main appearance characters and active components from different areas (Anhui Chuzhou, Zhejiang Tongxiang, Jiangsu Huaian, Anhui Fuyang), then investigated the quality of’chuju’under soil and climate factor influenced. Analyze the correlation of quality ’chuju’ under soil and climate factors. Though path and correlation analysis, found which soil and climate factors are the dominant factor to effect the active components of’chuju’. Light is one of an indispensable factors of environment, and light quality which is an important aspects in light. So we examined the effects of light quality on the growth and component content of’chuju’. The results are as follows:1. The ’chuju’ which growing on Anhui Chuzhou was better than other places. It had high plant height, larger leaves and flower. Other places botanic characters were not significant difference, while the number of flowers were fewer in Jiangsu Huaian. The content of most determined active components and Mg, Mn, Ni, Cd were higher in Chuzhou than other areas. So the ’chuju’ cultivated in Chuzhou had better quality.2. Though the study of soil and ’chuju’ internal quality find that there is no relationship between the concentration of active components in ’chuju’ and inorganic elements in their corresponding soil. The active components of ’chuju’ were greater effected by soil enzyme activity. Inorganic elements relationship between ’chuju’ and soil had also some relations. From grey correlation between climate factor and active components of Medicinal C.morifolium we know that monthly mean temperature, relative humidity have much effect on quality of ’chuju’.3. Light qualities (Transparent, Red, Yellow, and Blue) effects on changes of growth, chlorophyll fluorescence and content varieties of active components of ’chuju’ were investigated in this paper. From this research, it is considered that yellow film treatment was good at ’chuju’ quality. The dry weight of plant and uantum yield of PSⅡ (ΦPSⅡ), electron transport rate (ETR), photochemical quenching coefficient (qP) of leaves treated with yellow film was higher than other films, so it could draw that yellow film treatments promote the light energy conversion efficiency. Moreover, yellow film was benefit to the content of active components, especially the stages of mature chrysanthemum buds that half flourish open30%and tubular flower didn’t open.
