During the fast development of lawn, it is taking more and more attention of the management and maintenance of lawn. Control weeds is the most important and difficulty content of the lawn concernmengs, especially in sport turf. With using of herbicides in the turf weeds, weed species composition were investigated in different areas. This research studied in training base of Jiangsu football. First, we investigated the anniversary occurrence regularity of turf weeds, statistics the occurrence peak, main weeds and second weeds. On this basis, we screened the suitable herbicide by measuring the stem control effect and flesh weight control effect after foliage treatment and soil treatment, which could provide reference of chemical control for Nanjing district sports turfs. The main results as follows:1. With sampling methods, training base of Jiangsu football was investigated in order to find out occurrence regularity of weed species. The results showed that the weed species and quantity were different in different seasons. Weed species in spring was most, including24species, belonging to10famlies. The main weeds were Poa annua L and Veronica persica Poir. Compared with spring, weed species changed a lot in summer, including10species belonging to5families. The main indicating weeds were Digitaria sanguinalis (L.)Scop., Cyperus rotundus L. and Kyllinga cororata (L.) Druce; and the accessory weeds were Eleusine indica (L.) Gaertn, Trifolium repens L. and Alternanthera philoxeroides (Mart.) Griseb. In autumn and winter, weed species was similar with the weeds in spring, while the amount of weeds was decreased relatively. The amount weeds species was20, belonging to10families, including the main weed Poa annua L.2. In spring, summer and over-wintering stages, the control efficacy of several kinds of the stem herbicides to turf weeds-was studied. The results show that Roundup and Paraquat could effectively control the Gramineae and broad leaved weeds in overwinter period. The control efficacy of Flazasulfuron and Cuiping62on Poa annua L. was distinct and stable, while that of Cuiping39on Veronica persica Poir. was the best in6herbicides in spring. In summer, the control efficacy of Puma Super and Cuiping30on Digitaria sanguinalis (L.)Scop. was better, but Puma Super was harmful, and the effect of Cuiping30was unstable. The control efficacy of Flazasulfuron on Cyperus rotundus L. and Kyllinga cororata (L.) Druce was excellent, while that of Cuiping8on Digitaria sanguinalis (L.)Scop., floweriness indiapaspalum, Cyperus rotundus L. and Kyllinga cororata (L.) Druce was better and the control efficacy was stable.3. The control efficacy of5kinds of the soil close control herbicides to turf weeds was studied in spring and summer. The result showed that in spring Acetochlor, Triflurex and Cuiping62have better prevention effect for Graminear weed, but Acetochlor was harmful to turfgrass, and Triflurex was unstable. So the control efficacy of Cuiping62was better. All4herbicides have a little control efficacy for broadleaf weed, while that of Cuiping62was better. In summer, Acetochlor, Triflurex and Cuipingl could control Digitaria sanguinalis (L.)Scop., but Acetochlor was harmful to turfgrass, and Triflurex was unstable, the control efficacy of Cuiping62was best, safe and stable. Cuiping62had excellent control efficacy for Cyperus rotundus L. and Kyllinga cororata (L.) Druce, and the efficacy was stable and unharmful to turfgrass.
