Sorbifolia (Xanthocerras sorbifolia Bungge) belongs to Sapindaceae, the single species. It is the unique kind of trees for the oil production and clothing barren mountains with greenery in North China, which has important economic value and high ornamental value. This research focuses on the slow burgeoning rate of sorbifolia seed and field types mixed within the groups, the beads between the poor yield and low reproductive rate, tissue culture is researched, the main experimental results are as follows:1. Using the statstics method to research the biological characteristics of sorbifolia seed biological characteristics, the results show that:the kernel weight of most of the sorbifolia seeds is64.66to66.78g, seed’s diameter is9.58~11.08mm, seed’s length is12.4713.65mm, seed’s moisture content is11.78% to12.86%, seed’s viability is93.76% and94.23%. The results indicate that the the sorbifolia seed has exuberant vitality. After30days of home bed, the germination frequency is13%, the interval estimate (9.62% to19.93),but most of them still do not germinate signs. It shows that80% of seeds have viability after determination of viability of no germination of seeds, which indicates that seeds have high viability and germination potential, bat under proper condition, the seeds can not germinate, which can judge that sorbifolia seeds have a character of dormancy.2. By using of L9(34) orthogonal design method to seek the best method of germination sorbifolia, sorbifolia seeds through thigh-temperature stratification, physical processing and gibberetta treatment, the results showed that25℃sand bed plot,2μg/g coticentration of gibberellin aqueous solution soak can be seen as the optimal germination conditions.3. The results of several determine index show that during sorbifolia seedling stage, it is believed that N, P and N*P interactions affect seedling growth and development. It has initially identified that the program for sorbifolia seedling growth in the early growth is the N1P2, namely N elements in the nutrient solution N concentration1/2Hoagland in, P0.5times the the1/2Hoagland P concentrations is the optimum nutrition liquid during the seeding stage.4. By using tissue culture techniques, the results of bud induction test using sorbifolia embryo as explants show that:the possibility of inducing adventitious buds from callus is less than that directly from seed. In the induction of adventitious buds MS medium is superior to B5medium, Under the condition of adding cytokinin BA, adventitious bud not added by NAA adventitious bud induce and elongate good. This may be because that the seed itself contains enough auxin, which neeeds further experiment to prove. In terms of bud subculture, subculture adventitious buds robust growth, which is better than growth in other literature. To add5.5%sucrose and0,6%agar in the rooting, and1/2MS medium as the basic medium, and add0.5mg/1NAA and0.5mg/1IBA hormone rooting rate of70%, root grows robustly and transplant part of rooted, the process shows that sorbifolia rooting is difficult, but transplanting is relatively easy to survive. It is first time to attempt to use sorbifolia rooting for the roots with sugar-free filter paper bridge, which has a good condition in growing the root, large-scale experiments should be carried out in the future.5. By using tissue culture techniques, preliminary sorbifolia body cells induction test results which showed that: In the process of sorbifolia somatic embryo callus induction experience, if you add BA and NAA, callus will be enlarged rapidly and get brown easily. I found that on the basis of the author’s adding2,4-D,when I add a VC to it, The speed of callus’ browning slowed down, which is not been reported in previous trials. The growth in MS medium is faster than that in suspension culture in B5medium and is easier to get brown, eventually it turns up a lot of root tilting after being further developped, which will be gradually died in solid medium.
