The research of Zanthoxylum bungeagum Maxim in the quality detection, mainly concentrated in the effective components. The traditional chemical methods to measure the volatile oil content encounter with some problems such as long time, low efficiency, destroying sample, so it is difficult to achieve rapid detection. Near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) is new, fast and nondestructive method and applied to agriculture and food widely. To detect volatile oil content nondestructively, NIR is applied in the quality detection of Zanthoxylum bungeagum Maxim. So NIR has the actual application and dissemination value.Establishing a correlation model between alkaloids and volatile oil content in Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim through the cross validation and PLS by near infrared spectrum (NIRS) technique.Analysis four scanning parameters and data pretreatment methods, in order to research the correlation of the contents of Alkaloids and volatile oil. The results show that:1、NIR is providing the basis of building the model and validation of the alkaloids and volatile oil, through the traditional method to determine the contents and its average of the60samples of the alkaloids and volatile oil in Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim.2、By1st derivative+9points average smoothing and Multiplicative Scatter Correction,1st derivative+9points average smoothing and second derivative+9points average smoothing to build models, RPD of test set validation of1st derivative+9points average smoothing and Multiplicative Scatter Correction were better than the others. Its model prediction ability was improving and its can eliminate the spectral scanning and the noise influence of the seed of Zanthoxylum bungeagum Maxim in the spectrum.3、The characteristics peak of volatile oil:8654cm-1、8463cm-1、7087cm-1、5264cm-1、4885cm-1、4445cm-1、4086cm-1,the characteristics peak of alkaloids:7087cm-1、6387cm-1、6156cm-1、5938cm-1、5712cm-1、5264cm-1.These accord with relevant documents of NIR analysis.4、Multiple Linear Regression Principal Component Regression Partial Least Squares method are respectively applied to build forecasting model of volatile oil content. By comparison, PLS is suited the forecasting model of volatile oil content in zanthoxyhun bungeanm maxim.5、In four different combinations of scanning parameters, internal interaction validation is:when scanning resolution was16cm-1and scan number was128, the model of signal-to-noise ratio is higher, the establishment of correction model with the other three kinds of combination is relatively well. R2are0.900and0.890, RMSEP are0.544and0.550, the linear relationship between the predicted value and the measured value of alkaloids and volatile oil was well.6、when scanning resolution was16cm-1and scan number was128, correction set model determined prediction set, R2were0.983and0.937, RMS of forecast error were0.316and0.472, relative error analysis were7.03and6.79, relative standard deviation were6.52%and6.87%.The results showed that, the alkaloid and volatile oil of Zanthoxylum bungeagum Maxim have good linear relationship between chemical determination value and prediction set. It’s showed that NIR-PLS can be used as a method to detect alkaloids and Volatile oil content in intact Zanthoxylum Bungeagum Maxim. The established calibration models were better and more direct and simple,and the overall effect is good.
