The composition of the plants is extremely complex, modern analytical techniqu es can not yet detect harmful substances completely.Therefore,development of natur al products from medicinal and edible plants can ensure the safety of products.Thoug h the literature review found that grape contain resveratrol and its derivatives.Resverat rol has antioxidant, preventing cardiovascular disease,anti-cancer and other effects attr acted much attention.The preliminary study found that resveratrol in grape content is1owest,mostly in the form of derivatives.The derivatives can translate into resveratrol b y pretreatment.The grapevine contains a wealth of resveratrol and its derivatives.There are a lot of pruning waste branches will be produced in the viticulture process.De velopment of natural products from the waste branches can not only save resources, but also have access to safe natural product.In this study,we take grape(Vitis davidii Foex) from Hunan local characteristics g rape germplasm resources as the test object. The main research are metabolic accumula tion of resveratrol,extraction process and chemical composition analysis. The study r esults are as follows:(1)The metabolic accumulation of trans-s-resveratrol and trans-ε-viniferin in gra pes detected by HPLC method,to test their contents in different periods from the sa me plant. Systematically study of pretreatment method of the fresh sample after picki ng.It is get that the preliminary metabolic accumulation of resveratrol in grapes.(2) Central composite design-response surface methodology is used to optimize the extraction process of resveratrol and ε-viniferin in grapevine,than to determine th e more better extraction conditions.(3)The structures of resveratrol and its derivatives in extracts of grapevine were identified by using silica gel column chromatography,sephadex,recrystallization and s o on.There are a total of3compounds, their structures were identified as resveratro1,trans-ε-viniferin, iso-ε-viniferin.
