The experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of fermented soybeanmeal on growth performance, immune function and digestive enzymes in Arbor Acresbroilers. A total of120,1d old AA broilers were randomly allotted to three dietarytreatments:1) the fresh fermented soybean meal(GroupⅠ), the dry fermented soybeanmeal(Group Ⅱ) and the soybean meal(Control). Each treatment included fourreplicates of ten birds. The experiment period were42d and be divided into twostages(0-3w,4-6w). On21d and42d, twenty-four birds(two birds each replicates)were weighed and blooded from heart then killed to collect the samples for relatedanalysis. On43d, twelve male broilers from every replicates were selected formetabolic experiment. Results showed that:1.After fermented, the crude protein, crude fat, ash and the soluble solid ofsoybean meal were increased by9.47%(P<0.05),4.38%(P>0.05),2.84%(P>0.05),30.83%(P<0.05).And the Trypsin Inhibit was reduced from2835(TUI/g) to195.3(TUI/g).2.In0-3week, compared with the Control and GroupⅡ, the daily feed intake ofGroupⅠ was increased by13.91%(P<0.05),6.32%(P>0.05), and the ADG wasimproved by21.52%(P<0.05),18.12%(P<0.05).In4-6week, the daily feed intake ofthe GroupⅠstill significantly higher than the Control,. The ADG of GroupⅠwas6.33%(P>0.05)higher than GroupⅡ and7.29%(P<0.05)than Control. About the F/G,The GroupⅠwas significanly lower than the Control(P<0.05).3.Feeding fermented soybean meal can promote the immune organs of AAbroilers. The thymus, spleen and bursa index of GroupⅠ was significantly higherthan the Control in the whole time. And the the thymus and bursa index of GroupⅡalso had significant difference with the Control(P<0.05).However, there was nosignificant difference about IgG content in serum between each replicates.4.Feeding fermented soybean meal can significantly improve the intestinaldigestive enzymes activity. In0-3week, the intestine amylase and pancreas protease activities of GroupⅠ and GroupⅡwas significantly higher than the Control, and thelipase and pancreas protease in jejunum of GroupⅠhad higher activities(P<0.05). In4-6week, the activities of intestine lipase and pancreas protease were improved by18.10%(P<0.05)and26.82%(P<0.05)in GroupⅠcompared with the Control. Thejejunum pancreas protease activity of GroupⅠand Ⅱwas higher than the Control by17.61%(P<0.05),6.79%(P<0.05)respectively. But, the pancreas amylase activity ofControl was significantly higher than the treatment Group(P<0.05)in the whole time, the pancreas lipase in the pancreas of Control had higher activity than the treatmentGroup(P<0.05).5.At the age of21days, compared with GroupⅡand the Control, the P contentof serum of GroupⅠ was increased by7.01%(P<0.05),12.75%(P<0.05)respectively.However, the UN content of serum of Control was higher than GroupⅠand Ⅱ by11.54%(P<0.05)and24.1%(P<0.05). At the age of42days, the UN content of serumof the Control was significantly higher than the treatment Group(P<0.05).And the Pcontent of serum of GroupⅠwas improved by7.59%(P<0.05). Besides, there was nosignificant difference about total protein and albumin content in serum between eachreplicates at the two stages, however, treatment Group had the tendency higher thanthe Control(P>0.05).6.Compared with the Control, the crude protein apparent digestibility of GroupⅠand GroupⅡwere increased by6.19%(P<0.05),5.39%(P<0.05)respectively. Andthe crude fat, Ca and P apparent digestibility of GroupⅠwere higher than the Control, but not significant.
