In this paper, referred to a large number of domestic and foreign relevant references, the research status and development trends of the cotton-picking machine at home and abroad were understood detailed. At present, cotton-picking machine model mainly is spindle-type in the domestic market, and its price, use and maintenance cost are also high. In addition, cotton cultivation must adopt mechanical cotton-picking planting model, which lead to the low mechanical cotton-picking rate. The comb-type cotton picker, have changed the picking principle of the original other cotton-picking machine, which have simple structure, low price, high cost-effective, and which is suitable for the existing domestic production capacity and purchasing power. In order to solve the problem of low penetration rate, selected an economical comb-type cotton picker as research object in this article, meanwhile, the key technology that combined cotton-picking device of comb-type cotton picker was researched.Combined cotton-picking device is the core parts of the cotton-picking machine, and its performance directly influence on the picking performance of the machine. First of all, the analysis on the principle of comb-type cotton picker was conducted in this paper, having understood detailed the related process of mechanical picking cotton, so as to determine the structure layout scheme and to build the mathematical model between related operating parameters of machine. The related parameters of picking parts for cotton-picking device rake chain conveyor,anti-pull roll units were designed,then the force of harvested cotton boll, force analysis of cotton-picking device,etc,which were proceed.Using of ANSYS software to conduct the finite element analysis for comb structure,the stress and strain distribution had been calculated.It can provide the most supportive theory basis for determining further more reasonable structure design of cotton-picking parts.Make use of a virtual prototype technology of ADAMS to carry through kinematics analysis for rake chain conveyor on cotton-picking device,and different machine forward speed and rake chain conveyor for the transportation speed to the curve of harvest the effects was researched.So as to achieve harvest ratio coefficient when the best conveying effect.It introduced the design of the prototype test program in this paper, through the data collection and later data processing, analyzing the test results and verifying the rationality of the design, and then put forward improvement plan, and optimized the structure parameters.
