In this paper, Melilotoides ruthenica (L.)Sojak、Hedysarum leave Maxim.、Elymus dahuricus Turcz. and Psathyrostachys juncea seeds were used as trial materials, prepared them into Ultra-dry seeds with different moisture content by silica gel drying method, then determined physiological-biochemical index of them, which storied at-4℃、4℃、room temperature、45℃for3years, The following results had been drawn:(1)The optimum moisture content of Elymus dahuricus Turcz. seeds were3.83%-4.97%at-4℃;2.58%-3.83%at4℃;2.58%-3.83%at room temperature;2.58%at45℃.(2)The optimum moisture content of Psathyrostachys juncea seeds were both2.43%and4.47%at-4℃and4℃;1.76%-2.43%at room temperature and45℃.(3)The optimum moisture content of Melilotoides ruthenica (L.)Sojak seeds were2.69%at-4℃、4℃、 room temperature.1.51%-2.69%at45℃.(4)The optimum moisture content of Hedysarum leave Maxim. seeds were2.17%and4.74%-5.84%at-4℃;2.17%and4.74%at4℃;2.17%and4.74%at room temperature;2.17%at45℃.(5)With the temperature increasing, the optimum moisture content of Elymus dahuricus Turcz. seeds were left shift, then became smaller;the optimum moisture content of Melilotoides ruthenica (L.)Sojak seeds had no change at three temperature, the lower limit of optimum moisture content at high temperature became smaller;with the temperature increasing, the optimum moisture content range of Hedysarum leave Maxim, became narrow, Psathyrostachys juncea seeds had same optimum moisture content at-4℃and4℃,the results at room temperature and at45℃were the same, the optimum moisture content at high temperature became smaller.(6)Compared with control group, the seeds with moisture content in optimum moisture content range had higher germination percentage、SOD activity、POD activity、 CAT activity、GSH content and lower conductivity、MDA content.(7)There were significant differences of physiological-biochemical characteristics between the seeds in optimum moisture content range at room temperature and control group at low temperature; it is feasible to ultra-dry storage these four herbage seeds at room temperature, it had same effect as storied them at low temperature.
