This paper taking Yinjinhuoluo of the ordos Inner Mongolia for study area. Analysised Soil Erosion Intensity used by qualitative analysis method of Soil Erosion Intensity, and analysised land Use Suitability Evaluation based on it.The final purpose is to propose suggestions and countermeasures of conrtol Soil Erosion based on results of Soil Erosion Intensity and Land Use Suitability Evaluation.This paper mainly expounds qualitative analysis method of Soil Erosion Intensity(using<classification and gradation of soil erosion>issued by the Ministry of Water Resources of China), and expounds parameters extraction(including slope/coverage of vegetation/land use/soil texture) involved by this methed. Analysised relationship between Soil Erosion Intensity and Land Use, and analysised spatial distribution characteristics relationship of cultivated land/forest land/grassland in the area.At last, through analysised Land Use Suitability Evaluation, obtained level and spatial pattern of Land Use Suitability Evaluation(suitable for agriculture/forestry/pasture).The main achievements are gained as follows:1. Through qualitative analysis modol of Soil Erosion Intensity, obtained spatial distribution characteristics of Soil Erosion Intensity:The water Erosion mainly distributed gully region of loess plateau and the slope area of plateau region of the ordos, because of the steeper slope, the main level of water erosion are middle degree erosion.The main level of wind erosion are middle degree erosion, plateau region of the ordos is the most serious area that suffer wind erosion.2. Reach the research conclusion that between Soil Erosion Intensity and land use in Yinjinhuoluo. main included spatial distribution characteristics of cultivated land-, forest land and grassland in the area:On water erosion, forest land and the other land is the little effect types of land that suffer water erosion; grassland is the most serious types of land that suffer water erosion; On wind erosion, all the different types of land use suffer wind erosion. On cultivated land,the main of wind erosion is micro-degree and strength. On forestland/grassland/the other land, the main of wind erosion is moderate or severe.3.Reach the research conclusion that spatial distribution characteristics of Land Use Suitability Evaluation:The main level of suitable for agriculture are the medium suitable, and the subsidiary role of the highly suitable; The main level of suitable for forest land are the highly suitable and the medium suitable, The main level of suitable for grassland are the highly suitable.
