The genetic diversity of32species in genus Dendrocalamus Nees was analyzed by the amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) and random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. The objective of this study was to identify the genetic relationship between the species of Dendrocalamus Nees at molecular level, which will provide theoretical basis for further selection good resources for bamboo industry. The main results obtained in this study were as following:(1)The genetic diversity of32samples of Dendrocalamus Neeswas analyzed by16RAPD primers. Total of206bands were amplified, of which183(88.8%) was polymorphic. On Average,12.78bands could be amplified by a single primer. Total of33025loci were detected by8pairs of AFLP, among which4128.13loci could be detected by each pair of primers averagely. The polymorphic loci were about49.1%of total. These results indicated that RAPD and AFLP exhibited good performance in analsis of genetic diversity in Dendrocalamus Nees, and are suitable for discuss interspecific genetic diversity for Dendrocalamus Nees.(2)The AFLP and RAPD joint analysis showed the average distance of32bamboo species is0.5567, the range of variation is from0.2048to0.8235, the average genetic distance and the range of variation are both large. According to the groups by UPGMA cluster, the group of32Dendrocalamus Nees similar coefficient is0.2048. Divided into two groups on close range, Cv. Tsiangii, D.pachycladus D.Z.LI et Hui except for a class together, the genetic distance0.2152. In three groups for0.4873sanctions, the first kind of include MZ, f.striatus Hsueh et D.Z..Li.f.fimbriligulatus Hsueh et D.Z.Li and D. barbatus Hsueh et D.Z.Li four kinds of. The second includes23kinds of, in which D.bambusoides Hsueh et D.ZLi and D.yunnanicy Hsueh et D.Z.Li/he first together, with in combination with D.Jugongensis Hsueh et D.Z.Li, and finally with the rest kind of get together for a class polymerization. The third kind contains D. giganteus Munro, D.sinicus et J.L.Sun and D. calostachyus (Kurz) Kurz.(3)The cluster results obtained in the present study was90%identical to the traditional classification. The MZ might be a new species between D. membranaceus and D. barbatus. MZ, f. striatus.f.fimbriligulatus and D. barbatusi were grouped together, and (who?) formed as a independent group from Dendrocalamus Nees. The Cv. Tsiangii and D.pachycladus might belong to Bambusα.Subgen.Lingnania (McClure), because they and other kinds whit difference is bigger, the discovery was identical to that in Flora of China. Support the view that if published D.F.L.C.Chia&H.L.F.ung and D. farinosus (keng et kengf.) Chia et HJLFunng allied, D.yunnanicy Hsueh etD.Z.Liand D.bambusoides Hsueh etD.Z.Li allied.8and9actually is a type of bamboo and D. farinosus (keng et keng f.) Chia et H.L.Funng allied.
