The black soil area of northeast is facing a series of serious problems,such as soilerosion and decreasingsoil fertility. Conservation tillagecan improve the structure of soilincrease soil fertility, increase utilization ratio of rainfall, and then increase the productivityand the grain yield. The core of conservation tillage is straw mulching, directly sowing in thestubble land in next spring.But sowing in the stubble-covered surface is difficult. Thetraditional planter can not complete planting operation, so we need no-tillage planter. Stubblecutting mechanism is the common parts on no-tillage planter, which can get rid of surfacestubble and guarantee other soil working parts working smoothly. There are some questionsabout stubble cutting mechanism, such as high processing costs, inefficient cutting capability,etc. Therefore, a new kind of gear-tooth residue cutting mechanism is designed. Itsadvantages are well cutting capability and loosen capability.We design a new kind of gear-tooth residue cutting mechanism for the northeast ridgetillage. It has three major innovations:1. Using combined blade structure. Replacing theblade can enhance its maintainability.2. Better cutting and penetration capability byreducing the pressure of vertical.3. Using double disc structure. Gained good sliding cuttingperformance and loosen through the parameter optimization of the cutting edge curve.According to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the existing broken stubblemechanism,a new kind of stubble cutting mechanism for the northeast ridge tillageagronomic requirements was designed. The radius of stubble cutting blade is210mm subjectto the stubble in the field. The double disc structure was designed ensuring loosen. The outeredge of stubble cutting blade is spiral of Archimedes. The increment of polar radius is4.55mm. The inner edge of stubble cutting blade is eccentric circlec~2-2l c cos l~2-b~2. Theeccentricity is152mm and the radius of eccentric circle is95mm according to the height ofcorn stubble in the field. The blade angle is15oand the thickness of blade is3.5mm. Otherparts of the gear-tooth stubble cutting mechanism was designed.The CATIA software was used to simulate the stubble cutting mechanism in this paper.The stubble model is founded based on the actual situation in the field. The performance ofthe stubble cutting mechanism was verified according to the results of simulation.. A field test for the gear-tooth stubble cutting mechanismwascarried out according to thenational standard of no-tillage planter. The machine traveled at the speeds of1.62m/s、theworking depth of90mm and the cutter spacing of35mm are the best combination factors.Indexes of whole machine accord with the national standard.in many travel operation brokenpenetrating performance of the stubble mechanism had good penetration performance andanti-blocking effect.The research and innovation of the stubble cutting mechanism of no-tillage planter wereconducted in this paper. The new kind of stubble cutting blade which is fully considered thestubble in the field had an important meaning to study the stubble cutting parts and slidingcutting edge curve.
