Accompanied with the rapid economic development as well as constant promotion of people’slife level, people are increasingly looking for fresh and healthy vegetables in daily life. Due toseasonal and regional issues, as well as high water content, vegetables are prone to wilting spoiled,improper storage, especially in the process of storage, transportation and sales, the loss will begreat. Vegetable fresh-keeping has become a problem needed to resolve.The study found that in most of the northeastern region’s winter, seed potato storage in simplecellar. It is easy for potato to mold because of difficult regulation of temperature and humidity. Inorder to reduce the wastage of the potato, the storage temperature should be controlled at2~4℃,the safety range of the variation of humidity is from80%to93%, and the storage library mustensure the circulation of clean air, to reduce the content of carbon dioxide in the library, it needs tobe ventilated storage.This design takes advantage of widely used ZigBee technology currently, on the basis of thelatest developments in the Internet of things at home and abroad, setting up the wireless sensornetwork, realizing monitor of the temperature and humidity and carbon dioxide content of thestorage environment. Firstly, we devise a tree wireless sensor network taking advantage of ZigBee.Secondly, we design the hardware and software as well as the host computer of the monitoringsystem. Hardware design includes: Selection of RF modules in wireless sensor networks; Selectionof air temperature and humidity sensors, carbon dioxide sensors, single-chip selection, theselection of blowers and embedded machine selection; the design of the power supply system ofthe node and the controller; the design of controller and node hardware circuit. Software designincludes: conduct in-depth research on ZigBee underlying agreement and Z-Stack protocol stack,the IAR development environment as the application development of each node. Design ofsinglechip program in ventilation and temperature control. Research Modbus communicationprotocol and compile the transport protocol between the singlechip and Tablet PC. PC partincludes: one machine through the Beijing Kunlun embedded combining MCGS technology tobuild wireless sensor network monitoring system, which can design a software of PCmonitoring,to achieve the inquiry of real-time and historical data as well as the curve,and also thefunction of data storage and so on. In the end, we debug and operate the system, and build ZigBeewireless sensor network to realize correspondence between coordinator and industrial tablets.This paper combines wireless sensor network technology with MCGS configurationtechnology, therefore we put forward new ideas for the development of practical engineering. Use a firing angle adaptive model control algorithm. This design implements a node carrying aplurality of sensors.The experiment shows that, the design uses a wireless sensor network technology to realizethe monitoring of potato storage environment, having a strong operability and portability. It willimprove the freshness of our potato products and make vegetables in China’s inter-provincialcomplement and swap sufficient, laying a certain foundation for a better development of vegetabletransportation business in our country and having a certain practical value.
