Our country has an abundant natural production of pine needles, the Yongzhou h ills which its coverage of about70%gives us a good example. Over the years, scho lars have found that pinus contains abundant nutrients and active substances, and it a lso has a high nutritional value and physiological activity. The results shows, the higher levels of success into c aryophyllene (which is34.15%), A-graduated orange eggplant alcohol (which is12.93%); compound (1)(6), respectively, for the b-, g-elemene, which is the nation al second-class anti-tumor drug active ingredients of elemene injection.In the expriment of extraction of pine needles,we discuss two methods:organic s olvent extraction,ultrasonic extraction.And we select three factors:types of solvent,extra ction time,and solid-liquid ratio to study the extraction of total flavonoids by the way of organic solvent extraction,according to the experim-ental results to determine the range of factors in the orthogonal test.We also research the ability of extraction of t-otal flavonoids clearing DPPH, hydroxyl radicals and superoxide anion in vitro.Result s show that the orthogonal experi-ment, the optimum technological conditions:extracti on time is1.5hours, reflux temperature is85℃, ratio of liquid-solid is1:40. And as the storage time of the extractive extension,its ability of clearing free racial is wo-rse day by day. In general, pine needle extractive on DPPH radical scavenging abilit y-y in vitro is the strongest among the three free radicals. Then Ultrasonic was empl-oyed to extract flavonoids from Pinus massoniana. Conditions for extracting were stu died by some factors, such as, ethanol concentration,time, liquid-mate-rial ration.And optimized by using response surface analysis.Experimental resu-lts show the best con ditions are as follows:extracting time is56minutes,ethanol concentration is40%, li quid-material ration equals to1:20,power is90%,when the yield of flavonoids is1.59%. And it has the advantages of less time, high extraction yield.We use the water extractive of pine needles to identification components by the means of ultraviolet absorption and infrared spectrum.We reach thatit exists flavone,in eluding olefins, carboxylic acid, ester, ketone, alcohol, etc.T-hen.we make some resear ches about bacteriostasis and pharmacological activiti-es of hypolipidemic.lt turned out that water extract can effectively inhibits sta-phylococcus aureus, escherichia coli, sal monella, shigella.And in the hyperlipi-demia test, model mice, adopting group experi ment,freely drink different conce-ntration of water extract.we also reach a conclusion that water extractive has certain cholesterol-lowering effect,and the extractive acting on TG is best a-mong TG, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C.
