The production and area of Strawberry has been in the important place in the small fruits. Strawberry cultivation in Chongqing has formed a large scale in recent years and gradually becomes the preference of modern agriculture and tour agriculture. However.the cultivated varieties are relative mono-crops, It is lack of better varieties with different maturity and suitable to the local climate conditions, which seriously restricted the sustainable industry of strawberry in Chongqing area. Therefore, the introduction of new varieties of appropriate strawberry is the key for high quality-quantity to promote the competitiveness of the market.In the base of the introduction experiment of six varieties of strawberry:Tudla,Tongzi1, the United States No.13,Allstar,Darselect,France No.1in the district Bishan of Chongqing, this paper aims to make a comparison and study to the six varieties of strawberry on comprehensive index such as biological characteristics. premarurity,yield.fruit quality and so on.It helps to have further understanding of the variety characteristics of various strawberry varieties and to provide a theoretical basis for the preliminary screening of suitable varieties for local planting.which has important guiding significance for the realization of high-quality, high-yield production of strawberries. Conclusion as follows:In terms of plant biological character of strawberry.the growth of France No.1is the most vigorous.it has the highest plant, maximum number of blade, the longest petiole and the most often occurred stolon number.The second are Darselect and Allstar. All of the Tudla, the United States No.13and Tongzi1have weaker growth potential,which have the general plant height, the close shortest petiole and less Stolon number.In the aspect of production, Tongzi1has the best yield (1226.5KG/mu) and has no significant difference with Darselect,while it is significantly higher than the other four varieties. Followed by the Darselect,its maximum fruit weight is75.83g and the average weight is29.67g,which are higher than the others. Allstar has the lowest yield (865.6KG/mu).In fruit quality, all of these six varieties of strawberry showed better appearance quality.On the fruit nutritional quality, Tudla has sweet-sour taste,while others have sweeter taste; Total acid content、the content of soluble sugar content and vitamin C of the United States No.13is highest of all,followed by Tudla,and they were all significantly higher than the other four varieties.Allstar has the lowest sugar content and the total acid content and vitamin C content of Darselect is the lowest; France No.1has the maximum fruit hardness (336.38N),followed by Darselect and Tongzi1,while Allstar has the minimum hardness (142.270N).In addition, Tongzi1showed very precocious characteristics,so it can be planted in early march and harvested in late April. Tudla and the United States No.13have the the earlier maturity,and that the United States No.13has the longest harvest time,while Allstar showed middle lately ripening characteristics on the phonological period; Allstar has poor resistance to botrytis,while has a lower incidence of aphids; Tongzi1has the strongest resistance to botrytis and France No.1has the lowest incidence of aphids.,while Tudla has the highest incidence of aphids.In photosynthetic performance, the photosynthetic rate of Tongzi1is the highest of all,and it has strongest transpiration rate,wich is significantly higher than France No.1and has no significant difference with other four varieties.Through correlation analysis about18major indicators of six varieties of strawberry, it can be concluded that:there was extremely significant positive correlation between the plants petiole length and plant height leaf number; Rhizomes thick was extremely significantly correlated positively with fresh weight of plant on the ground、the root fresh weights dry-weight on the ground and the root dry weight,and it was significantly correlated positively with petiole length and leaf number;There was extremely significant positive correlation between dry-weight on the ground,fresh weight on the ground and the root dry weight、the root fresh weight;The starawberry yield per plant was extremely significantly correlated positively with the average weight and the the biggest weight per fruit,and there was significant positive correlation between grain yield per plant and the fruit diameter the number of blade、petiole length and the height of plant;Fruit hardness was extremely significantly correlated positively with the grain yield per plant and was significantly positively correlated with the average weight of per fruit;Sugar content of fruit was correlated positively with acidity; Average fruit weight was extremely significantly correlated negatively with acid content and vitamin C content; Negatively correlation exist between yield per plant and vitamin C content.Conclusions can be drew through principal component analysis of multiple indicators of six varieties of strawberry and analysis of three main comprehensive index evaluation of these six varieties of strawberry that:France No.1has vigorous nutrition growth and the robust plants, fruit hardness is biggest,while the yield is low,less than Tongzi1、Darselect、the United States No.13and Tudla; Tongzi1has highest yield,but has no strong vegetative growth,its fruit hardness was also in general level.The fruit soluble solids content and sugar acid content of Tudla were highest of all,taste was sweet as well as fruit maturity is high.Therefore,it can be combined with actual situation to promote cultivation of Tongzi1、France No.1and Tudla in Chongqing area.
