Objective: Nestin and CD133 in human glioma tissues, the expression of the organization ofglioma peritumoral edema and normal brain tissue classification and pathological correlation.Explore the differences, nestin and CD133 expression in human gliomas of different sites, andprovide a basis for judgment glioma border. Methods: Application of immunohistochemistry to detect 72 cases of glioma tissue and gliomaperitumoral edema tissue, 21 cases of normal brain tissue specimens of nestin and CD133expression.Results: 1. Nestin positive cells rate in the 72 cases of brain glioma, gliomas, peritumoraledema organizations, and 21 cases of normal brain tissue samples were 22.73%, 12.70% and5.21% (P <0.01) of CD133 positive cells were 18.91%, 7.85% and 0% (P <0.01). 2. Nestin andCD133 positive cells in 72 cases of glioma tissues between the group of glioma gradeⅣin theglioma gradeⅠgroup mean comparison: glioma gradeⅠgroup and glioma gradeⅡgroup.between P> 0.05, statistically meaningless; glioma gradeⅠand glioma III, IV level P<0.01, statistically significant; glioma gradeⅡand glioma III, IV levelP <0.01, statisticallysignificant; between glioma grade III and glioma gradeⅣP <0.01, statistically significant.3.Glioma gradeⅠ: no significant difference between any two of the group of glioma specimens, specimen group of peritumoral edema and normal brain tissue in the group of Nestin andCD133-positive expression rate (P> 0.05).between any two of the glioma gradeⅡ: gliomaspecimen group, specimen group of peritumoral edema and normal brain tissue group of Nestinand CD133-positive cells expressed the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). GliomagradeⅢ: the difference between any two of the group of glioma specimens, specimen group ofperitumoral edema and normal brain tissue in the group of Nestin and CD133-positiveexpression rate was statistically significant (P <0.01). Glioma gradeⅣ: the difference betweenany two of the group of glioma specimens, specimen group of peritumoral edema and normalbrain tissue in the group of nestin and CD133-positive cells expressed statistically significant (P<0.01).Conclusion: 1, Nestin and CD133 expression in different pathological grade glioma specimensgroup in varying degrees, the degree of expression of Nestin and CD133 and pathological gradesof glioma were positively correlated. Different levels of Nestin and CD133 expression in gliomaspecimens of group 2, In the same pathological level, specimen group of peritumoral edema andnormal brain tissue specimens group, Nestin and CD133 expression of glioma pathologyboundaries as defined in the guidance of significance.
