Objective:The main idea of the experiment, while we measuring the expression of IL-23and IL-17in the blood and nasal tissue of the patients with nasal polyps, and detecting the correlation of the two, was to explore the possible mechanism of IL-23and IL-17in the progress of nasal polyps.Methods:60patients with nasal polyps as the case group, and35patients who were performed partial inferior turbinectomy as the controls, we collected5ml Peripheral blood each patients to measure the expression of IL-23and IL-17using Enzyme linked inununosorbent assay (ELISA); under strict aseptic, we removal the polyp in the case group in the endoscopic surgery, while cutting part of tissues of the inferior turbinate in the control group. The expressions of IL-23、 IL-17in tissues were measured by IHC, and the infiltrating results of EOS or others Inflammatory cells through HE dyed. The experimental results using spss13.0software, Results were shown as mean±Standard deviation. Two groups using t-test, correlation analysis using Pearson linear correlation analysis, The threshold for significance was a=0.05.Results:The content of IL-23、IL-17in serum of the patients with nasal polyps is50.16±11.22pg/ml、12.32±4.65pg/ml, the controls is43.64±5.57pg/ml、3.58±2.05pg/mL, the patients is higher than the controls. The difference has statistical significance (t=3.21, P=0.02; t=10.53, P=0.001); The count of positive cells of IL-23、IL-17in nasal tissue of the patients with nasal polyps is14.27±3.81/HP、24.62±6.30/HP, the controls is2.93±1.46/HP、5.21±2.09/HP, the patients is higher than the expression of the controls. The difference has statistical significance (t=6.22, P=0.001; t=6.55, P=0.001); There is a positive relationship between the expression of IL-23and IL-17in nasal tissue (r=0.90, P=0.001), and there is a positive relationship between the expression of IL-23、IL-17in serum and nasal tissue of the patients with nasal polyps (r=0.85, P=0.001; r=0.82, P=0.001); The correlation analysis between The count of positive cells of IL-23、IL-17and EOS in nasal tissue of the patients with nasal polyps. There is a positive relationship between the expression of IL-23、IL-17and EOS (r=0.92, P=0.001; r=0.86, P=0.001) Conclusion:The expression of IL-23、IL-17in serum and nasal tissue of the patients with nasal polyps is higher than the controls. It suggests that IL-23and IL-17may participate in the occurrence and the development of nasal polyps; Positive relationship between the two instructs the formation of the axis of IL-23/IL-17mechanism maybe play an important role in the pathogenesis of nasal polyp.
